Sporaarchitects is a Budapest-based office of architects, designers, and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and urban development.
Spora Architects was founded in 2002 by partners Tibor Dékány, Sándor Finta (till 2013), Ádám Hatvani and Orsolya Vadász.
Among other projects, Sporaarchitects is currently working on one of Hungary’s most significant infrastructure projecs, the underground line called Metro4. This challenging design process fuses innovative architecture with complex structure and technology. Spora Architects received the Architizer A+ Award Jury & Popular Choice in 2014 for Metro4.
In 2015 the practice was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Prize.
